The Miss Earth organization has announced that the Miss Earth 2023 pageant will be held in Vietnam! The official announcement will be made today, July 18th at the Gem Center in Ho Chi Minh City. The reigning Miss Earth Destiny Wagner of Belize, Miss Earth 2020 and Missosology’s Timeless Beauty 2020 Lindsey Coffey and Carousel Productions VP Lorraine Schuck will be attending the event.
Vietnam is the perfect choice for the Miss Earth 2023 pageant. It has a bourgeoning pageant fan base and has numerous successes recently at the Big5 Pageants, the highlight of which was when Nguyễn Phương Khánh was crowned as Miss Earth 2018. It will be the second time that Vietnam will be hosting the pageant. In 2010, Nha Trang served as the host city.
Miss Earth held its pageants virtually in 2020 and 2021. It is the only Big5 pageant to use such unconventional method which was criticized by the fans. There is no official announcement whether the 2022 pageant will also be conducted virtually.
