To represent India in the 71st Miss World beauty pageant is Sini Shetty, a 21-year old accounting and financial student who hails from the city of Mumbai. She was crowned as the new Femina Miss India World in a glittering and star-studded event held in Jio World Convention Center. Miss Rajasthan Rubal Shekhawat is the first runner-up while Miss Uttar Pradesh Shinata Chauhan is the second runner-up.
Vowing to make India proud, Sini Shetty hopes to follow the footsteps of legendary Indian beauty queens such as Reita Faria, Aishwarya Rai, Diana Hayden, Yukta Mookhey, Priyanka Chopra and Manushi Chhillar. With her credentials and acheivements it is safe to say that Sini is one of the frontrunners for the Miss World crown. She is a classical Indian dancer and hopes her talent will help her shine in the international beauty contest.
