Rome-based actress and model Rigelsa Cybi has been crowned as Miss Earth Albania 2022 last Friday night at the conclusion of Miss Universe Albania pageant. Rigelsa has a degree in dentistry and has also studied law and acting. She is a member of an organization that promotes awareness on violence against women.
In her Instagram post, Rigelsa expressed her gratitude, “Thank you @missuniversealbania! Thank you @eduartdeda for being by my side in every step of the way. I am very lucky to have known you! I am grateful for this opportunity you have given me! I will try to represent my Albania in the best way possible at @missearth”.
While there is no official announcement, the Miss Earth pageant could return back to the Philippines after two years of being held virtually. Albania first competed at Miss Earth in 2006 and to date no Albanian beauty has made it to the semis of the pageant.
