Ruth Carlos representing Huambo was crowned Miss Mundo Angola 2021 during the finals held October 2 in Luanda.
The 24-year-old human resources student bested 17 other candidates for the title. She will represent the nation at the 70th Miss World contest to be held in December in Puerto Rico. She succeeded 2019 winner Brezana da Costa.
Marcia Quipaca and Jandira Silva were first runner-up and second runner-up, respectively.
