Mathilde Grondin was crowned Miss Earth Réunion 2021 in a ceremony held October 5 at FestiYacht de Bourbon,
The 20-year-old student from Saint-Joseph will represent the island at the 2021 Miss Earth virtual pageant to be held in November.
Grondin, who was second runner-up at the Miss Saint-Joseph 2018 pageant, enjoys painting and drawing.
This marks the second time that a woman from Saint-Joseph bagged the Miss Earth Reunion title (the first was Alexia Aupin in 2018).
