After being long-delayed by the pandemic, the Miss World Philippines 2021 coronation night finally pushed through on October 3 at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center, with Tracy Maureen Perez winning the top plum.
The 28-year-old industrial engineer from Cebu bested 44 other candidates for the title. She will represent the country at the 70th Miss World contest to be held in December in Puerto Rico. She succeeded 2019 winner Michelle Dee.
Also crowned in the same event were: Miss Eco Philippines 2021 Kathleen Paton, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2021 Emmanuelle Vera, and Miss Tourism Philippines 2021 Trisha Martinez.
Other titleholders were Miss Environment Philippines 2021 Michelle Arceo, Miss Multinational Philippines 2021 Shaila Rebortera, and Miss Eco Teen International Philippines 2021 Tatyana Austria.
Ganiel Krishnan and Riana Pangindian were first and second princesses, respectively.
Miss Supranational Philippines 2021 Dindi Pajares, who was earlier chosen from this batch of candidates as the country’s representative to the Miss Supranational 2021 pageant last August was formally crowned at the event.
