The Miss Bolivia 2021 finals concluded on August 28 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra with Miss Santa Cruz Nahemi Uequin winning the top plum.
The 20-year-old model bested 24 other candidates for the title of Miss Bolivia Universo 2021 and the right to represent the nation at the 70th Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December. She succeeds 2020 winner Lenka Nemer.
Miss Cochabamba Fabiola Montaño Roman placed first runner-up, while Srta Potosí Macarena Castillo finished second runner-up. The rest of the Top 8 (in order) were Fernanda Antelo, Malena Heredia, Camila Banzer, Nicole Lemaitre, and Antonella Ulloa.
Earlier in the event, Miss Beni Fernanda Rivero was crowned Miss Bolivia Mundo 2021. She will represent Bolivia in Miss World 2022. Miss Valle Adriana Ríos Lara was named Virreina (vice-queen), while Srta La Paz Andrea Torricos placed first runner-up.
