Michelle López Ortega from Arequipa has been named as the new Miss International Peru.
The 26-year-old communications graduate will represent the South American nation at the 60th Miss International beauty pageant in November.
“Michelle ha sido designada en base a su experiencia internacional y estamos seguros que dejará muy en alto al país (Michelle has been appointed based on her international experience and we are sure she will leave the country very high),” the Miss International Peru organization said in a statement.
Lopez competed in Miss International peru 2019 and was named Miss Latina Peru. She represented the country at the Miss América Latina del Mundo 2019 contest and finished as virreina.
