Dindi Pajares was crowned Miss Supranational Philippines 2021 in a surprise special announcement held July 24.
The 28-year-old flight attendant and Philippine Air Force reservist from Bataan will head on to represent the country at the 12th Miss Supranational competition in Poland in August. She received the crown from Arnold Vegafria, national director of Miss World Philippines, which also holds the Miss Supranational franchise.

Pajares bagged the title after receiving the highest number of votes from her fellow Miss World Philippines candidates. Ruffa Nava, Kathleen Paton, and Megan Campbell also made the shortlist for the title.
Pajares is the first Miss Supranational representative to be sent by the Miss World Philippines Organization. The franchise was previously held by Bb Pilipinas, which produced the country’s first Miss Supranational winner in 2013, Mutya Johanna Datul.
The surprise announcement came a day after the Miss World Philippines 2021 coronation night was postponed due to stricter quarantine meaures imposed in the county. Pajares is set to leave for Poland on August 3.
The Philippines has one Miss Supranational crown. It currently ranks 4th in Missosology Big 5 Ranking. Missosology.Org
