Valeria Estefanía Franceschi has been named Señorita Panamá Internacional 2020, the Organización Señorita Panamá announced on February 5.
The 19-year-old professional model, medical student at the Universidad de Panamá, and fourth-year lyric singing major at Conservatorio Nacional de Panamá will represent the country at the 60th Miss International beauty pageant in November.
“I really feel a great pride and emotion and I promise to give all of me to make an excellent representation of my dear Panama (De verdad siento un gran orgullo y emoción y prometo dar todo de mi para hacer una excelente representación de mi querido Panamá),” she posted on her social media accounts.
Prior to being named Señorita Panama Internacional 2020, Franceschi was Miss Teenager Continents 2018. She also held the titles of Miss Teenager Panamá 2018, Miss Teen Beauty Panamá 2016, and Teen Earth Costa Rica 2015.
Franceschi comes from a family of beauty queens. She is the daughter of Miss Costa Rica Universe 1995 Beatriz Alvarado and niece of Miss Hispanidad Panamá 1988 Itzel del Carmen Francesci.
