Anna-Maria Jaromin was crowned Miss Polski 2020 during the finals held January 17.
The 22-year-old internal security major specializing in psychoanalytic criminology from Katowice bested 23 other aspirants for the crown. She is expected to represent Poland in Miss Universe 2021.
Jaromin was crowned by Miss Polski 2019 Magdalena Kasiborska, who will represent Poland in Miss Universe 2020.
Natalia Balicka placed first runner-up while Wiktoria Ciochanowska finished second runner-up. Dominika Wójcik and Sandra Naum were third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
No stranger to pageants, Jaromin previously represented Poland at The Miss Globe 2019 contest in Albania. She was also a finalist in Miss Polski 2018. She practiced competitive horse riding and took part in regional and national competitions.
For the first time in Miss Polski’s 31-year history, the contest was held without a live audience due to the Covid-10 restrictions.
