Park Ji-jeong, a runner-up at the Miss Queen Korea 2019 contest, has been appointed as Korea’s representative to the next edition of the Miss World pageant.
The announcement was made by Miss Queen Korea national director Jenny Thorn in a Facebook post on December 29.
Park, who was Miss World Korea 2019 first runner-up, finished her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the New York University. She is into ballroom and hiphop dancing. She is fluent in English and Chinese.
Miss Queen Korea 2020 pageant did not push through due to the pandemic.
Korea has yet to win the Miss World crown. It currently ranks 19th in Missosology Big 5 Ranking. Missosology.Org
