Swelia Da Silva Antonio was crowned Miss Supranational Netherlands 2020 during the finals of 12 Months of Beauty online pageant held November 8 in Amsterdam.
The 23-year-old stunner from The Hague bested five other finalists for the title and the right to represent the Netherlands in the next edition of Miss Supranational.

Also crowned were Miss Grand Netherlands 2020 Suzan Lips and Supermodel Netherlands 2020 Lotte Dirchs.
“Now that I’m here, I’m inspired even more to work for my aspirations. I am [and] together we are alias the Netherlands – let’s do this!,” Antonio wrote on Instagram. She also wants to give the Black Lives Matter movement in the Netherlands a new dimension, by using her title to advocate for a stronger position of Afro-Dutch women in society.
The 12 Months of Beauty pageant started seven months ago with 25 quarter-finalist from which 14 semi-finalists were selected. Only 11 girls were able to participate in the challenges where six were chosen to move forward in the finale.
