Shudufhadzo Musida from Ha-Masia in Limpopo was crowned the new Miss South Africa in glittering finale held October 24 at the Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town.
The 24-year-old BA Honours in International Relations student bested nine other finalists for the crown. Musida also has a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Pretoria.
Thato Mosehle and Natasha Joubert placed first and second runnerrs-up, respectively.
Melissa Nayimuli and Lebogang Mahlangu completed the Top 5.
South Africa’s pride reigning Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi is one of the judges.
