In an interesting twist of fate, Nampetch Teeyapar Sretsirisuvarna will once again represent Thailand in Miss Earth.

The 27-year-old actress, disc jockey and beauty consultant makes history as the first candidate to represent a country more than once in Miss Earth.

She was crowned in a special ceremony held September 18 and attended by reigning Miss International Sireethorn Leearamwat and Miss Supranational Anntonia Porsild.

Teeyapar was appointed Miss Earth Thailand 2019 and competed at the 2019 Miss Earth contest in the Philippines. She placed in the Top 20 and won the Eco Media Award. This time, she will compete for the 2020 Miss Earth virtual competition to be held from September to November.

Thailand has yet to win the Miss Earth crown. It currently ranks 18th in Missosology Big5 Ranking. Missosology.Org; Photos from Nampetch Teeyapar’s page
