Charlise Hammond was crowned the new Miss Earth New Zealand during the finals held March 7 at the Pumphouse Theater.
The 18-year-old stunner from Hamilton will represent the country in the next edition of the Miss Earth pageant. She received the crown from last year’s winner Tashan Kapene, who made history as the first from New Zealand to place in the Top 10 of the Miss Earth pageant.
Her elemental court included Daniella Clements-Levi (Miss Air), May Ganon (Miss Water), and Suzy Nielsen (Miss Fire).
Hammond is no stranger to pageants as she previously competed in Miss Friendship International in China.
