TOKYO, JAPAN – The candidates of Miss International 2019 debuted their national costumes during the press presentation held October 28 at the Tokyo Dome Hotel.
Sarra Brahmi of Tunisia received on behalf of the delegates the Miss Visit Japan Tourism Ambassador 2019 certificate from Hiroshi Tabata, the chief of the Japan Tourism Agency.
Meanwhile, Belize’s Selena Maria Urias represented the rest of the delegates as the Purple and Orange Ribbon Ambassador, a collaborative awareness campaign to stop violence against women and child abuse. The campaign runs until November, with Cabinet minister of the Japanese parliament Seiko Hashimoto officially designating the 83 delegates as ambassadors.
Reigning Miss International Mariem Velazco from Venezuela attended the event. She is set to crown her successor during the finals on November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall. Missosology.Org
