Rosemary Arauz was crowned Miss Universo Honduras 2019 during the finals held October 26 in Roatán, Bay Islands.
The 26-year-old model from San Pedro Sula bested 16 other aspirants for the title and the right to compete at the 2019 Miss Universe competition in December in the USA.
Alejandra Fuentes of Olancho finished first runner-up, while Kennia Mondragon of Tegucigalpa was second runner-up. Cecilia Rossel (Copan), Jenifer Figueroa (Puerto Cortes), and Jasmin Oseguera (Colon) placed third, fourth, and fifth runners-up, respectively.
