Alba Marie Blair, representing Jarabacoa, was crowned Miss Mundo Dominicana 2019 during the finals held recently at the Hotel Barceló Grand Resort Punta Cana.
The 21-year-old stunner earned the right to represent the Dominican Republic at the 2019 Miss World finals in London in December.
“During this process of preparation and hard work, I have had the opportunity to grow and learn new things that strengthen me not only for my journey ahead but for my life and to be able to contribute to my community and my country,” Blair posted on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Zaydi Bello was crowned Miss International Republica Dominicana 2019. The 27-year-old international relations graduate from Santo Domingo Este will travel to Japan for the 2019 Miss International beauty pageant in November.
Carmen Muñoz and Aída Saladín placed first and second runners-up, respectively.
Reigning Miss International Mariem Velazco attended the event.
