The 19-year-old midwifery student from Ardee bested 32 other hopefuls for the title and the right to represent the country at the 2019 Miss World finals in December in London.
“It is amazing, and I really never expected to win – I didn’t set out to – as I take every day as it comes and was just myself, and I came out, and was crowned,” she was quoted by Drogheda Independent.
Miss Limerick North Christina Alcazar and Miss Clare Emma Austin placed first and second runners-up, respectively.
