Sharon Meyer from Kòrsou was crowned the Miss World Curacao 2019 in a special ceremony held September 7 at the Acoya Curaçao Resort in Willmestad.
The 24-year-old model will represent the Caribbean island at the 2019 Miss World contest in December in London. She received the crown from Miss World Curacao 2018 Nazira Colastica.
Meyer has been modeling since the age of 4. She is a finance and political science honours graduate from Peter Stuyvesant College, Stony Brook University in New York.
