Yasmín Evangelista Pérez, representing Distrito Nacional, was crowned Miss Republica Dominicana Earth 2019 during the finals held August 24 at the Centro Cultural Narciso González in Santo Domingo.
The 22-year-old biology student bested 27 other candidates for the title and the right to represent the country at the 2019 Miss Earth finals in October in the Philippines.
