María del Mar Aguilera Zuheros, representing Córdoba, was crowned Miss World Spain 2019 during the finals held August 18 at the Auditorium Carvajal in Melilla.
The 21-year-old psychologist and model bested 51 other finalists for the right to compete at the 2019 Miss World finals in London in December.
Tania Medina of Las Palmas placed first princess, while Tenerife’s Marta González Pérez was second princess. Marta López of Jaen and Julianna Ro of Sevilla completed the Top 5.
