The 2019 edition of the Mr and Miss King and Queen of South Africa concluded on June 16 with the crowning of the country’s bets to Miss International and Mister International competitions.
Pageant first-timer Nicole Middleton was crowned Miss Queen of South Africa 2019 and will represent the Rainbow nation at the 2019 Miss International beauty pageant in November in Japan. She receieved the crown from outgoing queen and Miss International 2019 2nd runner-up Reabetswe Sechoaro.
Zabelo Hlabisa and Jemimah Kandemiiri placed first and second runners-up, respectively. Yajne Debideen got the Missosology’s Choice award after garnering the most likes on the Missosology Facebook poll.
Middleton, 24, is a law graduate of the University of South Africa. She plans to take the bar after competing in Miss International.
South Africa has yet to win the Miss International crown.
Meanwhile, Nkululeko Mbatha was named Mr King of of South Africa 2019. The 25-year-old model will compete in the next edition of the Mister International competition.
Sicelo Nkosi placed first runner-up and was awarded Missosology’s Choice. Michael Maja finished second runners-up.
The finals was held at the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace in Gauteng and was beamed live on Missosology’s Facebook page. Missosology.Org
