Gabriella Francésca Jukes, from Port Talbot, was crowned Miss Wales 2019 during the finals held April 13 at The Riverfront in Newport.
The 22-year-old sport and exercise science graduate bested 33 other candidates for the right to compete at the 2019 Miss World competition in December in Thailand.
Sioned Murphy and Darcey Corria were first and second runners-up, respectively.
Jukes was a finalist of Britain’s Next Top Model in 2017.
