Miss Universe Slovak Republic marked its 20th year with the crowning of Barbora Hanová as Miss Universe Slovak Republic 2018 during the finals held November 17 at the Ministry of Fun club in Banská Bystrica.
The 24-year-old graphic designer and model from Lučenec will head on to represent the country at the 2018 Miss Universe competition in December in Bangkok, Thailand.
Sofia Sekelová and Kristina Vargová placed first and second runners-up, respectively.
Slovak Republic has yet to win the Miss Universe crown. The country last placed in the pageant in 1994 when Silvia Lakatošová finished in the Top 6. Missosology.Org
