India has a new representative for the upcoming 2018 Miss Earth pageant and she is Nishi Bhardwaj.
She takes the place of Devika Vaid, who was ruled out of competing in the international pageant after suffering an ankle injury. Vaid, however, will still keep the Miss Earth India title she won last month.
“I can’t express the feeling of representing my country (hub of diverse cultures and people) at this huge platform…to be called India,” Bhardwaj wrote on Instagram. ” With this opportunity comes huge responsibility. I’ll give my best to make India proud.”
Bhardwaj was a Top 7 finalist in Glamanand Supermodel India 2018 contest.
Nicole Faria became India’s first Miss Earth crown in 2010. Missosology.Org
