Alina Voronkova was crowned the new Miss Suomi during the finals held September 28 at the Billnäs ironworks in Raseborg.
The 23-year-old philology graduate from Helsinki will now represent Finland at the 2018 Miss Universe competition in December in Bangkok, Thailand.
“Words are not enough to describe my happiness and gratitude. Thank you! This will be a wonderful year for my year Miss Finland 2018,” the Russian-Finnish beauty posted on Instagram.
Eevi Ihalainen from Lappeenranta and Jenny Lappalainen from Helsinki were first and second runners-up, respectively. The two are expected to compete in Miss World and Miss International competitions. Missosology.Org
