Tran Tieu Vy from central Quang Nam province was crowned Miss Vietnam 2018 in glittering finale held September 16.
The 18-year-old student at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education bested 42 other candidates for the crown and the right to represent the country at the 2018 Miss World finals in December in Sanya China.
Nguyen Thi Thuy An, a student at the University of Technology in Ho Chi Minh City, was named Miss International Vietnam 2018. She will travel to Tokyo, Japan for the 2018 Miss International beauty pageant in November. She received the sash from reigning Miss International Kevin Lilliana.
