The representative of Piauí was crowned Miss Brazil Mundo 2018 during the finals held August 11 at the Hotel do Bosque Resort in Angra dos Reis.
Jéssica Carvalho, a 21-year-old medicine student, will now represent the country at the 2018 Miss World finals to be held in Sanya, China in December.
Jainy Lemos of Amazonas and Marina Ramada of Espirito Santo placed second and third, respectively.
