Colima’s Andrea Toscano was crowned as the first winner of the Mexicana Universal reality show on June 3 and is now set to represent Mexico in the next edition of the Miss Universe competition.
The 19-year-old nutrition student received 24% of votes from the public, edging out second placer Aranza Molina of Tabasco by just 1%.
Maryely Leal of Sinaloa finished third with 21%, while the rest of the six finalists were Guerrero’s Lupita Valero (fourth), Jalisco’s Nebai Torres (5th), and Zacatecas’ Karely Sandoval (6th). Missosology.Org
