Natalia Carvajal was crowned the new Miss Costa Rica at the conclusion of the pageant held April 27 at Teletica’s Studio Marco Picado in San Jose.
The 27-year-old television presenter will compete in the next edition of the Miss Universe pageant, the date and venue of which has yet to be confirmed. She also bagged the Miss Photogenic award.
Larissa Sancho placed first runner-up while Raquel Castro was second runner-up.
The Miss Costa Rica crown, designed by George Bakkar, is inspired by the country’s floral nature and is valued at US$8,400. Missosology.Org
