On Saturday 17 June 2017 the city of Oslo was transformed into a beauty oasis when the most beautiful women of Norway gathered in the capital. This year Miss Norway Organization has 15 finalists coming from different regions of the country.
It’s 7:00 am and the alarm went off. Sunny day in the Scandinavian capital with a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, I do know is a promising day and time to get up and be ready to meet the finalists who gathered at the Grand Café. The Staff of Miss Norway Organization welcomed and briefed us all about the several activities in such a special day. It is the beauty camp of Miss Norway 2017!
The excitement to start of the girls was in the air, as the day begins to get busier with catwalk training, trying on clothes and photo shooting, the sun starts to make the day warmer and these Norwegian women have begun to take over Karl Johan gate which is the most important pedestrian street in Oslo with a spectacular beauty parade.
Later on that day we were taken to Wallman’s Oslo with a breathtaking mountain river scenery with the background of lots of beautiful green trees worthy of an art gallery. The final photoshoot in group and with each of them was recorded here for the posterity. To close with a flourish, an excellent dinner was served, always with the pleasant company of empowered beautiful women full of talent, charisma and with great stories to tell.
Miss Norway is more than a title and is more than a pageant. Miss Norway celebrates women who build their character, courage and beauty at the same time. Because we should never forget that it is highly important to be beautiful on the inside as well as out.
The 2017 Miss Norway Grand Finale will be held on Saturday 29 July 2017, meaning that soon 2016’s winner Christina Waage will crown a 2017 contender to take her place and represent Norway in the Miss Universe 2017.
