Nepal’s representatives to the 2017 editions of three of the Big5 beauty pageants were crowned on Friday, June 2 in Kathmandu.
Nikita Chandak was crowned Miss Nepal World 2017. She bested 18 other candidates for the right to represent the country in Miss World 2017 to be held in December in Sanya.
Chandak also bagged Miss Confident and Miss Popular Choice awards.

Miss Nepal World 2016 Asmi Shrestha crowning Miss Nepal World 2017 winner Nikita Chandak.
Rojina Shrestha won the title of Miss Nepal Earth 2017 and will compete in Miss Earth 2017. She was also named Miss Friendship.
Niti Shah bagged the title of Miss Nepal International 2017 and will fly to Tokyo, Japan for the Miss International 2017 pageant. She also bagged the Miss Fascino award.

Also crowned in the event was Miss Nepal Asia Pacific International 2017 Sahara Basnet, who also won the Miss Intellectual award.
Winners of other special awards were: Narmata Gurung (Miss Talent), Barsha Pokharel (Miss Best Hair), Anusha Lamsal (Miss Photogenic) and Manzari Singh (Miss Athlete). Missosology.Org
