Saitama City. Beauty pageants seem to be the latest buzz in the City of Saitama as it once again welcomes the delegates of Miss International for the second straight year. While in Saitama City, the beautiful national representatives visited Iwatsuki’s famous doll factory, and then they headed to Sakae Higashi Junior and Senior High School for a school immersion program where they had the chance to share about their country to young Japanese students. They also visited the Cocoon Mall chain in Saitama Shintoshin, and finally headed into Omiya Palace Hotel for the welcome reception party. /Stephen I. Diaz
