The island country of Guam has selected their entrant to Miss World 2016 pageant: 17-year old Phoebe Denight Palisoc, a tall 5’9 student who will be taking up Nutrition and Dietetics in the University.
She will now compete in Miss World 2016 on December 18 in Washington D.C.
A pro-volleyball player from Tamuning, Phoebe also won three special awards in the competition: Best in Evening Gown, Miss Photogenic and the all important Beauty with a Purpose award by supporting her chosen charity, the GMH (Guam Memorial Hospital) Volunteers Pink Ladies.
Completing the final line up of winners are: Aiyana Baker Shedd (1st runner-up), Shania Mesngon (2nd runner-up) and Audre Laguana Dela Cruz (3rd runner-up). The event took place at the Sheraton Laguna Guam Resort. Missosology.Org
