Alena Belova, a 21 year old classical dancer from Vinnytsia who stands 5’9.6″ tall, has been crowned as the new Miss Earth Ukraine at the conclusion of the Miss Ukraine 2016 contest. Alena will now represent Ukraine at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant which will be held on October 29 in the Philippines.
Ukraine is yet to win the Miss Earth crown. Alena Belova has a good chance though. Ukraine has already landed in the semis of Miss Earth thrice – in 2010, 2011 and 2015. The country is currently ranked 52 at the Big4 Ranking [soon to be Big5] which is steadily growing from 55th place in 2011.
