Alexandra Brittonwas crowned Miss International Australia 2016 at the finals held recently at Lake Macquarie.
The 23-year-old Sutherland Shire young woman, who is studying a Bachelor of Education at the University of Notre Dame, Sydney, will now head on to represent the Land Down Under in Miss International 2016 competition to be held in Tokyo, Japan in October.
“I’m very proud to be representing Australia as it gives me a platform to proactively contribute to my community and across the world through my charity work,” she said in a report by St George and Sutherland Shire Leader.
Australia has won the Miss International crown thrice. The last was in 1992 with Kirsten Davidson. Missosology.Org
