Beatrice Fontoura, 26 years of age, reigned supreme in a field of 40 contestants earning the titke of Miss World Brazil 2016. The event was held in Jurerê International in Florianopolis , on Saturday night, June 25. Renata Sena of Mato Grosso do Sul is the Vice Miss while Stephany Pim of Espírito Santo is the First Princess.
In addition to physical beauty, the Miss Mundo Organization also takes into account intelligence, fitness and aptitude in selecting the winner. With her title, Beatrice won a full scholarship and will represent Brazil at Miss World 2016 content which will be held on December 20 at Washington D.C., United States. She will also work with the Morhan, a non-profit organization which advocates a fight against leprosy.
