Lucija Potočnik was crowned Miss Universe Slovenia 2016 during the finals held June 24th at Habakuk Hotel Congress Center in Maribor.
This 24-year-old beauty from Mislinja bested 11 other candidates for the right to represent Slovenia in Miss Universe. She succeeds Ana Haložan, who had to pull out of the Miss Universe competition last year shortly after she arrived in Las Vegas after an epileptic seizure.
Tanja Božič and Kaja Jokić finsihed first and second runners-up, respectively.
Sabini Mars won Miss Photogenic while Loli Jevtić received the Miss Congeniality award.
