Pageant veteran Siera Bearchell was crowned Miss Universe Canada 2016.
The 23-year-old entrepreneur from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, edged out more than 60 contestants for the right to represent Canada at Miss Universe 2016 later this year.
Amber Bernachi finished first runner-up, while Kesiah Papasin placed 2nd runner-up. Camila Gonzalez and Zoe Bennett were third and 4th runners-up, respectively.
Bearchell, who also won the Miss Photogenic and Best Runway awards, completed her second year of law school at the University of Saskatchewan. She is also has her own brand of clothing, Watered Down Apparel. She was 1st runner-up in Miss Supranational 2015, won by Stephania Stegman of Paraguay.
