Manuela Oppikofer was crowned Miss Earth Schweiz 2016 during the finals held May 7. The 25-year-old saleswoman from Lausanne will now represent Switzerland in Miss Earth 2016.
She was born in Cameroon and went to Switzerland at age 10. She said she was racially abused during her younger years. and now wants to work for disadvantaged children.
Her elemental court included Stefanie Zimmerli (Miss Air), Noémie Wira (Miss Fire) and Serena Caruso (Miss Water).
