Elsa Técher was crowned Miss Earth Réunion 2016 during the finals held May 7.
Técher outclassed 14 other candidates for the right to represent the island at the 2016 Miss Earth finals.
Her elemental court inclided Chloé Bonnefond (Miss Earth Air Réunion 2016), Méli-Shéryam Gastrin (Miss Earth Water Réunion 2016) and Lucianne Bègue (Miss Earth Fire Réunion 2016). Meanwhile Rosine Marie was awarded Miss Photogenic.
Reigning Miss Earth Angelia Ong and Miss Air Dayana Grageda attended the finals.
