Safiatou Baldé, a 20 year old and 5’8.5″ tall beauty, won the Miss Guineé 2016 crown during a pageant held on January 30, 2016 in the city of Conakry. Safiatou will represent Guinea at the Miss World 2016 pageant.
Guinea, a west African nation with Senegal to its north and Sierra Leone to its south, is currently ranked 181 in the Big4 Ranking [soon to be Big5 ranking when all major international pageant concludes this year]. It draws points only from the Miss World contest – so far the only major international pageant where it sends a delegate.
