An Open Letter to the Miss World Organization
From the desk of Ric G. Galvez – owner and founder of Missosology.Org
Let me get straight to the point – Miss World has the unconditional and unequivocal support of Missosology. Our organization in the past may have been a vocal critic of the pageant but all criticisms that we officially sanction were constructive. Missosology believes in the core values of Miss World which is Beauty with a Purpose.
I published this open letter – and I speak on behalf of all the staffs, editors, graphics artists and contributors of Missosology – because a rival organization has accused Missosology of elevating Miss International at the expense of Miss World. I say this with all honesty – this accusation does not contain a single grain of truth in it. It is concocted by an organization that has been languishing on the sidelines because Missosology has now become the undisputed leading pageant related website in the world.
Miss World is a pageant that commands the respect and admiration of Missosology. We have been all praises to its activities and we have covered it exhaustively whenever our resources permit. In 2013, Missosology was in Bali to cover the pageant and we have been supportive of its eventual winner – Megan Young of the Philippines. Missosology loves the current titleholder, Rolene Strauss of South Africa, and we took time and effort to cover her quick journey in the Philippines. Miss World’s magnanimous contribution to the Philippine General Hospital amazes us all here in the Philippines, which is my home country.
I can’t stress enough that Missosology loves, respects and admires the Miss World pageant. Forget the comments that one might have read from our Facebook page or forum. Missosology does not sanction those comments. I invite those who doubt our resolve in promoting Miss World by scanning through the pages of our website.
Missosology will continue to promote and cover Miss World and anyone saying otherwise is a shameful liar.
