Fresh from their jubilant finish in Moscow at the Miss Universe 2013 pageant, Venezuela is set to conquer, this time, the dynamic city of Tokyo as we unfold the 53rd Miss International Pageant, which will culminate next month!  Elian Herrera, the runner-up of Maria Gabriela Isler (Miss Universe 2013) at last year’s Miss Venezuela pageant, now leads the fifth installment of our official Miss International 2013 Hot Picks.  At 184 cm, this statuesque beauty has been training for more than one year, and is ready to capture her country’s seventh Miss International crown.  As of now, she is the tallest candidate on record from among the 77 contestants who are expected to compete at the annual pageant.  Miss International selects the most eloquent and socially endearing representative from among the beautiful international delegates who come to compete in the annual pageant,  also dubbed as a cultural gathering of ambassadors of goodwill.

In second place is the angelic beauty from the “Land of Fire” – the iconic mythical Atlantic island of Iceland – Sigrun Eva Armannsdottir.  After her Beauty Talk was published on Missosology, a lot of pageant experts were praising her natural looks.  At 183 cm, she is the second tallest among the registered delegates this year.  Not only does she possess a beautiful face, she is also very down-to-earth and amiable,  two of the qualities that Miss International is looking for a winner.

In third place is Bea Rose Santiago, from the pageant-loving country of the Philippines.  If we recall, Bea was No. 1  in the second installment of our Hot Picks, and she is gaining momentum once again after her country’s successful run at the Miss Universe 2013 pageant this month.  Her countrymen will definitely support and root for this amazing stunner in the coming weeks leading to the start of the pageant activities.

Brazil’s Cristina Alves is in fourth place!  This lovely delegate was a favorite during the Miss Brasil 2013 pageant, and being the reigning Miss Rio Grande do Norte, her competitive edge lies on her fun personality.  In fifth place is Yukiko Takahashi of Japan.   This very intelligent Tokyo native graduated from the same school where the reigning Miss International, Ikumi Yoshimatsi, was from.  Since her crowning, she has transformed very well, and has been experimenting on different glamorous looks, which has been praised by those who have been following her.

In sixth place is Hungary’s Brigitta Otvos, the first placer at last month’s hot picks.  Despite dropping in the ranking, no one can deny that Brigitta is still a major contender for the crown.  In seventh place is a newcomer on our list, Germany’s Oksana Koroleva.   She is followed by her immediate eastern neighbor, Poland’s Katarzyna Oracka, and northern neighbor Sweden, who is represented by Eleonore Lilja, who are in 8th and 9th places, respectively.

In the 10th spot is the lone African on the list, Gabon’s Reilly Mboumba.  The very determined beauty from this western African nation is very excited to come to Japan, and show to the world what her country is made of!

In 11th spot is the photogenic contender from Lithuania, Elma Segzdaviciute.   The gorgeous delegate from the US, Andrea Neu, follows her, with Estonia’s Madli Vilsar in 13th place.  It is interesting to note that Andrea is sandwitched by two Baltic states.  Puerto Rico’s Ashley Beth Perez and Paraguay’s Maria Marta Raviola, complete the list at 14th and 15th spot, respectively.

Our next update will feature our pre-arrival Hot Picks!  If there are any delegates whom you think is deserving to be included on the list, don’t hesitate to leave a comment, and tell the reason why she should be the next Miss International!

Let’s make the Missosology Hot Picks, as YOUR Hot Picks, as well!
