เป็นอีกครั้งที่ประเทศไทยกลับมาผงาดบนเวทีขาอ่อนโลกด้วยการที่สาวงามไทยคว้าตำแหน่งรองชนะเลิศอันดับหนึ่งจากการประกวด Miss Supranational 2014 นี่เป็นตำแหน่งรองชนะเลิศอันดับสองอีกตำแหน่งหนึ่งหลังจากที่ในปีนี้ตัวแทนสาวไทยได้ทำสำเร็จมาแล้วจากเวที Miss International 2014 และการได้เข้ารอบ 10 คนสุดท้ายบนเวที Miss Earth และล่าสุดกับการคว้ามงกุฎจากเวที Miss Intercontinental 2014 ไปหมาดๆ นี่อาจจะเป็นสัญญาณที่บอกว่าสาวงามจากประเทศไทยกำลังถูกจับตามองในเวทีระดับโลก ประเทศไทยจะกลายเป็นมหาอำนาจแห่งความงามได้หรือไม่ ต้องจับตา.

We don’t like the result of the 2014 editions of Miss Intercontinental & Miss Supranational. If the rumors are true that there was crown buying in WBA, and if it was because of this alleged maneuvering from a certain meddling group that swayed the outcome, then we can all say that this is a case of one wasted beauty queen to another for the Philippines’ KrisTiffany Janson & Thailand’s Parapadsorn Disdramrong who should have been the real winners. To these meddling fools: Stop this selfishness in your bid to outdo & out-class other groups & don’t make the pageant industry your pig pen! Don’t get us wrong but India’s Asha Bhat is an okay winner for Supranational but what we could not take is that Wangwang Putaporn. Because of your reprehensible underhandedness, you shame the whole Thai nation by crowning a transgender-looking queen (Intercontinental) instead of the real gorgeous one (Supranational) that they could truly be proud of.
