A former Miss Earth contestant was crowned Miss Universe Sweden 2017 on Sunday, June 18 in Stockholm.
Frida Fornander, 21, from Gothenburg will now represent her country in the next edition of the Miss Universe pageant.
Fornander has been working as a model since she was 15 and has participated in over 15 national and international contests. She competed in Miss Earth 2014 and was Miss Teen Model Universe 2012 winner.
“I’m so grateful and excited about this opportunity, yet humble since my journey to reach the crown has been long,” Fornander posted on her Instagram account. “I will do my best to make all of you proud on the Miss Universe stage!”
Lina Ljungberg was crowned Miss International Sweden 2017. This 20-year-old beauty from Östergötland will compete in Miss International 2017 to be held in Japan.
Miss Earth Sweden 2017 title went to Camilla Fogdestedt. This 25-year-old model from Halland will compete in the Miss Earth 2017 finals in the Philippines. She was second place in WCOPA 2012 modeling category. Missosology.Org
