Stephanie de Zorzi (photo, above), the original winner of the Miss Earth Venezuela title who is supposed to represent the country this year at Miss Earth pageant was officially stripped of her title. Although the press release did not cite the official reason, rumors had it that Stephanie went to Mexico for modeling and came back with extra kilos to her weight.
Stephanie is now replaced by Maira Alexadra Rodriguez (photo, below), the winner of this year’s Miss Earth Venezuela title who is supposed to compete not until 2015.
Why didn’t they appoint one of the runners-up from the 2013 pageant? Wi May Nava would’ve been a good replacement to Stephanie.

when I first heard I thought for sure Wi May would take her place I find it hard to believe that with all the hard work all the girls went through this happened…
