Sasha Lombardi, who finished as second princess in Miss World Canada 2020 pageant held November 7, has been named Miss Supranational Canada 2020, earning her the right to represent the country in the next edition of Miss Supranational.

“I am honoured to announce that I am joining the Miss Supranational family as your Miss Supranational Canada 2020! Thank you to the Miss World Canada Organization for entrusting me with the honour of representing Canada internationally,” Lombardi posted on Facebook.

“This is dedicated to my late nonna (grandmother) who always told me ‘one more’. One more pageant. One more degree. One more embrace.”

The 23-year-old teacher previously competed in Miss Eco International 2019 and placed in the Top 20. She was also second runner-up in Miss Universe Canada 2018. She is the counder of #TheGiversMovement, a network that provides access to resources so people can be more active in their communities.

Canada has yet to win the Miss Supranational crown. It currently ranks 23rd in Missosology Big 5 Ranking. Missosology.Org
